HIT GRANT Network Administrator I/II

Ideal candidate will design, test and evaluate HIT systems. Test and evaluate hardware/software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems. Research emergent HIT/HIE technologies, analyze & and make recommendations on proposed enhancements to agency policy/plans, with attention to budget impact. Develop a plan of approach and prepare standard methods for all phases of data processing development.
Requirements:
• Associates Degree
• Six months of network administration experience in Microsoft Windows 2003 and/or 2008 LAN/WAN; or an equivalent combination of 2 ½ years of education and experience
Preference will be given for HIT/HIE/EHR, Medicaid systems, healthcare IT, encrypted data systems, supervisory experience.
